Like so many kidney problems, kidney cancer features few symptoms in the early stages. In fact, kidney cancer usually reaches a dangerous point before it is diagnosed. Often, it is discovered by accident when the patient is undergoing tests for other health problems.

Kidney cancer is not as prevalent as many other types of cancer, and gets far less publicity and discussion in the mass media. But it costs approximately 12,000 Americans their lives every year, and is a disease that should be taken seriously.
